Three Ravaged Shorebirds
Late 19th c.
Found in a Masachusetts barn
The two beakless birds are attributed to Joe Lincoln and the third to a Hingham, Massachusetts carver. Each is attached to part of the original field stake.
Birds vary from 9” to 10” in length. As mounted, the assemblage is 13” wide x 6” deep x 23” high.
